| Terry Johnson |
Awards. Glenn Kelly, a longtime musician and music educator, received his award in the Professional Division, and

More Goodwill. . .
Festival of Trees was a success – but only because of the generosity from many amazing community supporters. From the community members who donated a mini-tree or wreath, to the community businesses that sponsored a large tree, to the restaurants that donated food for Ladies night and the committee members who worked hard to make all the festival events a success. Thank you so much for supporting Festival of Trees and helping us to raise over $80,000 for the Performing Arts Center of Wenatchee.

Thanksgiving continued!
One PAC supporter is giving thanks for one lucky raffle ticket! Sheila Callihan is the lucky winner of the 2011 Festival of Trees Raffle Tree, sponsored by Total Travel. Not only does she win the beautifully decorated raffle tree – currently on display in the lower lobby of the PAC – but she wins four amazing trips, compliments of Total Travel. Her trips include a five-night stay at the Halekulani on Waikiki, HI (including airfare from Seattle to Hawaii), a ten-day cruise, two-nights in Las Vegas and two-nights in Lake Tahoe.
Sheila’s winning raffle ticket was drawn during Holiday Spice – the official wrap-up of Festival of Trees. Sheila called the next day and said she was very excited to have won and had already visited with Terry Thompson at Total Travel to start making travel arrangements. She thinks she’ll hit Las Vegas first – but not decided. Decisions, Decisions. Congratulations Sheila. Thank you to everyone who purchased a raffle ticket to help support the Performing Arts Center of Wenatchee.

Celebration: If you Give a Moose a Muffin
The holidays are a time to celebrate, but for students, holiday vacation is REALLY something to celebrate! Parents, what will you do with your students over the long winter break? We have a solution for Monday, December 19! Bring them to the Performing Arts Center of Wenatchee for a special Magik Theatre production: If you Give a Moose A Muffin, a fun musical adaptation of the popular children’s book by Laura Numeroff. Magik Theatre is a renown children’s theatre group which produces plays based on children’s books with a goal of stimulating children to think clearly and creatively. Celebration: New Beginnings
Here’s another reason to celebrate – the PAC has a new director!
Rita Brown will ring in 2012 as the Executive Director of the Performing Arts Center of Wenatchee. Rita brings experience in development and fundraising as well as strong community ties here in Wenatchee and all over the Pacific Northwest. Click here to read the November article from the Wenatchee World.
Rita says she is very excited about being involved with the Performing Arts Center of Wenatchee. “I’ve always thought of this center to be a wonderful community asset and I look forward to being a part of it,” Rita said. “There is such a wonderful atmosphere here and I want people to experience and enjoy it.”
Rita’s goal is to make the Performing Arts Center of Wenatchee feel truly accessible to community members of all ages and background. Welcome Rita!

| PAC Volunteers Needed
We are looking for volunteers interested in being a part of Team PAC in the New Year – specifically as a head usher or in the Box Office. We have some really exciting events coming up in 2012 and need your help to make our season run smoothly.
It’s EASY and it’s FUN! Box office shifts are only a few hours between 11:30 am and 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday (evening and weekend shifts are available). You may work as little or often as you like and training is provided. It’s a snap! Make new friends, talk with lots of people that make our community great and help support a nonprofit. Click here to learn more or contact Sarah at 665-9096.
Holiday Schedule
The PAC Box Office will be closing from December 22, 2011 through January 2, 2012. Please be sure to purchase your tickets and gift certificates for the holidays before 5:30 pm on Wednesday, December 21, 2011. Happy Holidays!

| It’s Not Too Late to Give
At this time of year, you don’t have to look too hard to find a place to make a donation. It’s not too late to give your gift of support to the Performing Arts Center of Wenatchee. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization which makes all gifts tax deductible. When you give to the Performing Arts Center, you will receive a tax donation letter before the end of the year!
We also have four tiers of membership – all of which are tax-deductible. Don’t know what to get that “hard-to-buy-for and has-everything-already” person on your list? Give the gift of membership, and with four levels to choose from, it’s a gift to fit any budget. Bronze Memberships begin at only $35! Gold Membership (starting at $150) will put their name in the Season PACBills while a Platinum Membership (starting at $500) will add their name to the lobby signage. Diamond Memberships begin at $1,000 and include invitations to special PAC events. Corporate memberships are also available.
If you’re feeling like you’re running out of time, or that you’d prefer to hand-deliver your gift, you can come visit us during business hours during these last two weeks of December. Call the business office at 509.665.9096 for more information about how you can give a special gift this year and support the performing arts in our community.
