Wenatchee Valley Coats for Kids will be collecting new and cleaned coats in good condition for school age kids K – 12. Coats can be dropped off at Albertson’s and American Family Insurance/Tim Hedding in Wenatchee or
at the Wenatchee Valley Mall and Merrill Orthodontics in East Wenatchee. Coats will be distributed to needy kids through the Wenatchee and Eastmont Schools. Coats may be donated through Oct 22nd, which is Wenatchee Valley’s Make a Difference Day.
“Everyone can help out just by cleaning out your kids’ closets. You can also challenge your group or organization to collect coats. Eastmont High School’s Key Club is organizing their own effort and has challenged Wenatchee High School’s Key Club to see which school can collect the most coats,” said coat drive organizer Andrea Andrus.
