activities. Get acquainted with your classmates and gain an understanding of the remaining
sessions. Select community action project. |
- Working with Local Government
An in-depth look at local government systems and decision making processes. |

Get a feel for education in the Wenatchee Valley and its effect on the area. |
Livability, social services, health care, and recreational programs and organizations which
improve the area are emphasized. |

- Our Agricultural Community
This session will stress the impact of the agriculture industry on our local economy. You
will also get a good look at the expanding foreign markets. |
- Business & Industry Development
Gain knowledge of business and industry as they relate to jobs and economic development.
Find out what businesses and industries are possible for the Wenatchee Valley. |

- Communications and Public Relations
Build collaboration and learn the importance of networking. Learn strategies for connecting
groups, conflict resolution, mediation, consensus building, and call to action. |
Get a closer look at the local criminal justice system and community safety. |

- Moving Out Into the Community
Set personal goals/vision/mission. Present Community Action Project. |
A graduation ceremony will be held in June to honor the leadership program participants. |

available and are awarded based on need and class

is $925 for Chamber Member business employees or $1025
for non-members.
Full tuition is due before
September 1st. No tuition refunds will be made after the class member has participated in the
opening retreat.
