At the North Central Washington Winemakers’ Invitational, the judges awarded Chamber member wineries with the full gamete of awards.

Double Gold

Martin-Scott Winery received a Double Gold award for their 2010 Viognier. The judges’ comments read, “It’s easy to love Viognier when it’s made this ell, and Martin-Scott’s version is classic Washington style. It opens with aromas of orange zest and creamsicle, followed by flavors of citrus and cantaloupe. this captures the elegance of the variety.

Side note: This tasting room has one of the best southern views of the Valley. You can’t help but enjoy yourself amidst the orchards, looking over the Columbia River.

Thanksgiving Wreath & Fall Barrel Tasting

Celebrate Thanksgiving weekend by tasting wine from the barrel before it is bottled.  It’s like a preview of “coming attractions”!  The wineries of Wenatchee Wine Country want to welcome you, your friends and out-of-town family to visit them and enjoy the wines that we are so proud to produce.  They will be open Friday and Saturday from noon-5 p.m., and Sunday from 12-3 p.m.  You can collect a Christmas ornament as you go from winery to winery with the purchase of a passport.
