Come Educate and Motivate!
Chelan Douglas Community Action Council is looking for presenters to come speak at bi-monthly meetings with transitional housing clients. The goal is to teach skills and build confidence in the clients as they progress toward self-sufficiency. If you are or know of someone that specializes in topics such as budgeting, job searching skills, education, cooking, home safety, renting, or anything that members from this population could benefit from, consider using your knowledge to help these individuals. The meetings last an hour and a half in the late afternoon/early evening, and the speaker talks for about 45 minutes.
