After reading about Milty and Clem in the first edition of the Wenatchee Valley Business World, a business-focused monthly publication by members Wenatchee World, I had to go check it out.
You see, Mitly and Clem are fictional growers for Stemilt. And they are funny. Reenacting famous viral videos where they feel most at home (the orchard), these crazy farmers not only get a laugh, but educate the viewer at the same time. While most people know that a pack of Mentos won’t explode in an apple the way it will in a soda, not everyone knows what an apple orchard looks like. Milty and Clem place the viewers directly inside their workplace, even providing specific locations such as Malaga and Stemilt Hill in a “Where in Tarnation is Clem?” video that many views will recognize.
We all hear about the value in posting You Tube videos, but I believe this is an enchanting a befitting way to introduce the viewer to a brand, reinforce familiarity, or tweek the business image. And it’s fun, too!
